Aljuneid? I live in Aljuneid? Dang!

Today is nomination day. Today, I learn that I will be voting for the first time in my entire life. For this, I'd like to thank the opposition party (cannot name them... it is illegal to sound partisan on the Internet during erection) for fielding candidates in my area. I finally get to see what a polling station looks like. But then, I realised that I will have to go and squeeze with lots of other people just to vote. Now this is something that I'm really sore about. Minus points for them. It is also today that I realise that I live in Aljuneid. Fucking living in Singapore for 32 years and only now I know where I live. I will have to come to terms with this. It might take quite awhile. I might not be in the right frame of mind when polling day arrives. Excerpts from a MSN conversation with my freind... Friend: Eh, you belong to which GRC. Me: I stay in Aljuneid. Friend: Eh? U move out ah? I thought you stay in Serangoon? Me: No, I did not move out. Aljuneid moved in. I'm still pretty confused by the conversation, but I seems to make sense, and I think that's confusing me.

Violence, Sex and Gore... it's all at Chernobyl

Today marks the 20th anniversary of the Chernobyl nuclear disaster. This was a life changing event for me. I had to change the way I buy groceries. Prior to this incident, I would just buy whatever I like. Nice packaging can already. After the event, packaging not only must be nice, better still if they are not made anywhere near the disaster area. I eventually moved on to become one of those freaks that read the ingredients on the packaging before buying my stuff. My geography also became better. Things like the United States is not in Europe and Canada is actually in America became clearer. However, this is not what I want to talk about. As promised in my previous article... there will be explicit sex... and I've decided to add violence into it. Chernobyl offers all of the above. After the VIOLENT explosion 20 years ago, many people near the reactor died a GORY death. People were evacuated. A lot DIED of cancer and the whole place just became a ghost town. Ironically, it was good for the wildlife. They had lots of SEX and made a lot of babies. Some died of cancer too, but for those that did not, they became resistant to radiation. 20 years after, they now have animals in that area with radiation levels so high that you'd proably get cancer if I throw a Chernobyl rat at you. So now you have wildlife that humans cannot exploit. Hmm... maybe they should throw a few people inside so that we can have a new breed to radiation proof humans too! There you go, an article with violence, sex and gore. Even I find this article a bit lame... heh heh, so I guess it is back to the same old shit then... at least I have an ardent fan. A special thanks to Pea.

Tammy is REAL HOT!!!

I did some website maintenance earlier... and viewed my website statistics... and to my surprise, 15% of search engine diverted traffic came to my site after searching for 'tammy' and 13% arrived after searching for 'nyp'! These were the top 2 keyword searches that landed people on my site! I can imagine the surprise on these perverts' face when they read my article... heh heh... I guess this Tammy news is still HOT after so many months eh? Poor girl. Honestly, I'm pretty discouraged. People come to my blog for SEX and not because they think that I have a brilliant mind. That my writings are worth reading... Well I'm not complaining. I'm still getting the hits. Guess it's time to contemplate writing more articles of a sexual nature... so dear readers, till the next time when the Toad types... I'll give you my personal guarantee that it is going to be very explicit and sexual in nature...

3G mobile telecommunications... bah!

Being a techno geek, I managed to convince myself that the old Nokia is a relic and that I should go get a new phone... Spent 300 stones on it... the Nokia 6280... pretty nice looking phone with 3G capability... WOW! Imagine the surprise I get when friends start complaining that my phone is off most of the time... Guess what... my home is 3G proof... the signal is like, only 2 bar on a good day, so nothing comes through... not even SMS... 3G phones give 3G signals priority... this means that it only goes down to 2.5G when there are totally no 3G signals... also means my phone does not work at home! At least until now. You see, I have disabled my 3G... so tell me, what's so good about 3G again?

Suicide... Over a small dick?

Yup. You got believe this. It was in yesterday's papers. You must have read it. If you have not, it's here too! A reporter for The Straits Times used this incident to call for better sex education in Singapore... Ur... I don't think any amount of sex education can cure a small dick. You can't make that all go away by telling people that it wasn't the storks that delivered them... oh wait, unless by sex education, they meant lessons on how to make love... now, that's a different thing all together... Okay, then I have to agree. This is important. After all, it is not the size of the ship, but the motion of the ocean that matters, people!!! The original Mini Cooper won no less than 153 races in 1962 alone! Okay, I think you guys get the message. Anyway, I do have my views as to why this kid is convinced that he has a small willy, but better not put such information in public domain... exercise self censorship lah... (read scared Gahmen not happy with my views.)

Mobile Socialising in Singapore?

I've been reading about this being a hit in Europe since bluetooth became a standard mobile phone feature. It was then known as bluejacking. In it's most primitive way, it involves sending an anonymous greeting to another bluetooth enabled phone within range. This greetings will have to be sent in the form of a business card since most mobile phones do not allow you to send messages via bluetooth. To find out how, click here. A slightly more advanced method of bluejacking can be done in the newer phones. Use the phones voice recorder to record your message and have it sent via bluetooth to your target. It can be fun too! You can also send pictures. Create a picture like the one on the left and send it to your target via bluetooth. It gives basic steps for its recipient to reply you. Perhaps someone might entertain you with a reply! There are also java applications that have been developed to make mobile socialising easier. These are known as mobile socialising softwares (Mososo). They are small applications that you install into your mobile phone. It enables you to chat via bluetooth. Here are some that are free to use and seems to work pretty well too. 1) Chat2U, a final year project by some student. 2) SMOB, a personal project. 3) BlueChat, another personal project. 4) Nokia Sensor, only for Symbian phones though The only catch with these Mososo are that the other party must be using a similar a application, and that not all phones are supported. Do download them and check it out. I'm really curious about how well the Singapore mobile phone community receives this. Some possible uses that for Mososo that I can think of are: 1) Cheating in class tests and exams. (Damn! I wish they had this when I was studying!) 2) Entertaining each other during a meeting where your boss gives one of those damn long speeches. It is better than SMS because using bluetooth does not cost any money! Please download one of these Mososo and try it out. Drop me a comment. I'd like to see your views too! I have them installed in my phone. It would be a nice surprise if we should end up chatting via bluetooth.

Singapore condemns Tel Aviv suicide attack

Kudos to Singapore for condemning the recent suicide attack on Tel Aviv. We don't really want that to happen here either. Better to criticise it so that other people will know that we would be pissed if they suicide bomb us. I mean, innocent people were killed in this attack, for goodness sake... ur wait a minute, shouldn't we also criticise Israel for their air strikes then? I mean innocents were killed too! In fact, I think their single air strike usually cause more casualties than a single suicide bomber. The only difference is, the Israeli attackers usually go home alive and in time for dinner. Condemning the Palestinians while looking the other way when the Israelis attack isn't going to help. Shouldn't we either shut our trap or be more consistent with our condemnations?

I feel like freedom fighting...

Tonight I think I'll freedom fight, For the captive sharks of Indochine. Shark lovers of the world unite, These sharks die while people dine. A petition is underway, Don't hesitate, it's a click away. It is just a simply petition, We hope the owner will take some action. Ladies and Gentlemen, Boys and Girls. Sharks have a high chance of dying before they reach maturity when they are kept in a small tank. I feel that Indochine is a lovely place and really do not need the sharks to enhance its overall ambience. Let's hope the owner of Indochine, Wisma Atria gets this message and put these sharks in safer hands. Sign the petition here.

Forget-Me-Not Panties, tomorrow's technology, today.

This has got to be the coolest invention of all times... if you're a paranoid boyfriend or husband. Get a load of this, a panty with an embedded GPS receiver and sensors that monitor temperature and heart rate. It also sends 'live' data to your PC or mobile devices so that you know where your partner is and um... well... shall I say, how she is feeling. So, if your partner is in a hotel, her temperature is rising and heart rate increasing... and you're not anywhere near... well, time to give her a call... With the Forget-Me-Not panties, chastity belts are so yesterday's news! Be discreet, it is unintrusive and she doesn't even know that she's being tracked. With this, you can truly stalk like a pro.

We have a transparent Election System? If the Gahmen says so...

Today, our DPM decided that our election system is transparent and that we do not need international monitors to check on it. Y'know what? I so totally agree with that. We really have the most transparent election system in the democratic world. In fact, we are so transparent, I can hardly see any election coming my way. I can confidently say that this will likely be the second or third election that I do not have to vote in. (I can't remember, cos no need to vote.) Yay! I'll bet Singapore is the only democratic nation in the world with the most number of people that never had to vote in their entire life. Guess what? Here's another world's first. Hooray Singapore!
